We should all know Jesus the way that this young man does...

I have heard this before but it was by Adults.  It just has a whole different meaning coming form the mouth of a child.

A Memory Maker: Turkey Cookies

This year at Thanksgiving my college age daughter asked if we could make Turkey Cookies with all the little cousins. She said it was a great memory that she had from when she was a little girl.
So, we made a new memory this year with all the little ones in our family.

Bin Laden is Dead

Awaiting the President's remarks concerning Bin Laden. I pray for safety for the innocent worldwide and that any retaliation efforts are spoiled.

The Royal Wedding

I really had no intention of waking at 4 am to watch Kate & Wils wedding, even though I had watched Diana & Charles years ago. But I woke up at 4 and then again at 4:15 with a strong urge to pray for this young couple.

So, I am up watching and it is a day filled with joy and hope for not just a country but the world. It is a true fairytale story.

The Abbey is beautiful, the weather sunny and Oh the hats!

More later...

I Am A Mountain

I am here for a purpose and that purpose is to grow into a mountain, not to shrink to a grain of sand. Henceforth will I apply ALL my efforts to become the highest mountain of all and I will strain my potential until it cries for mercy.

Fuel Your Kids Passion

We have always tried to fuel whatever our children had a passion for. Our son, Joshua, has loved trains, karate, boy scouts, science, computers and more. He has always excelled at whatever he has done. And, we expect that of him. He is now 17 years old, and is focused on the film industry. He wants to write and direct movies.

Last summer he completed his first full length script, an adaptation of Treasure Island. He has had the opportunity, because we Homeschool, to work on a film project of a friend of ours which has taken him to LA, Angola Prison, and Lake Oconee.

Recently he has been producing short films. And, this is his latest. He and his sister went to Savannah for two days and he filmed this while he was there. Joshua immediately came home, edited the footage and produced this movie. Savannah's Tourism has already taken notice and want to use it on their twitter and facebook pages. How cool!

I hope you enjoy, "Heart of Savannah."

The Princess Syndrome

My daughter just finished this short film for her Digital Story Telling Class in College.  I thought that it made a very good point about the lesson that our daughters take away from the beautiful princesses in movies.  Our society is so focused on outward beauty that we forget what is really important: inward beauty.

Outward beauty will fade, but inward beauty will last a lifetime.

Great Job, Dulce!
